Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of racingroach.com (the "Site") and any purchase you make through it. By using the Site or purchasing a license through it, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.

1. Use of the site

The Site is provided to let you learn about RacingRoach, read documentation and guides, and purchase a license. You agree to use the Site only for lawful purposes and not to attempt to disrupt, probe, or scrape it in a way that degrades it for other visitors, and not to attempt to circumvent any access or security control on it.

2. The software itself

These Terms cover the Site and the purchase flow only. Your right to install and use the RacingRoach desktop application — free build or licensed — is governed by the End User License Agreement (EULA), which you must also agree to before using the application.

3. Purchases and billing

A RacingRoach license is currently offered at $59.99 per year per seat, as described on the pricing page, billed annually and renewing at the same price unless cancelled. Checkout on the buy page is not yet live; until it is, purchases are arranged directly through support@racingroach.com. Prices are listed in U.S. dollars unless stated otherwise and may change for future renewal periods with reasonable notice.

A license is delivered as a signed file, tied to a single seat, and verified entirely offline by the application — there is no online activation server and no recurring check-in.

4. Refunds

If you're not satisfied with a purchased license, email support@racingroach.com within 14 days of purchase and we'll sort it out. This is the same refund window stated on the buy page.

5. Non-renewal

If a license is not renewed, the application continues to work on the free tier — a 1,000-page-per-crawl cap, with every non-premium check still available. Nothing is disabled or bricked; you simply lose access to the premium checks and the unlimited-page cap described on the pricing page until you renew.

6. Acceptable use

When using RacingRoach to crawl a website, you are responsible for having the right to crawl that target and for complying with its terms of service, robots.txt directives (where you've chosen to respect them), and applicable law. The Software includes safety controls (for example, an SSRF guard and a robots.txt honor setting) to help you crawl responsibly, but using them does not itself guarantee you have permission to crawl a given target.

7. Intellectual property

The Site, its design, and its content are owned by [COMPANY LEGAL NAME] or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Nothing in these Terms grants you any right to use our name, logos, or branding without our prior written permission.

8. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

THE SITE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SITE. Nothing in this section limits any right you may have under the EULA's own warranty and liability sections for use of the Software itself.

For questions about an order, the Site, or the application, see the support page or email support@racingroach.com. The docs, guides, and issue tracker linked from that page are the fastest path for most questions, free or licensed.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of [GOVERNING JURISDICTION], without regard to its conflict-of-law principles, and any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in [GOVERNING JURISDICTION].

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the Site after a revision constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
